Renovation of a restaurant located in the heart of South Delhi. The brief was to transform an almost 50-year-old dimly lit multi-cuisine restaurant into a bright and lively space. We relocated the bar area to free up the windows and reorganise the circulation. The verticality of the centrally- located columns interfered with the visual flow of the already low-height space and so we chose to remove the false-ceiling, expose the conduits. We chose a blue and white colour palate to add freshness to the space and created a pixelated flooring pattern with contrasting tiles to divide the different zones.
