A furniture and artefact showroom for an export house for US based clients. We wanted to divide the large floor plate into smaller spaces while keeping the layout flexible and capable of transformation over time. And so we designed modular platforms along with free-standing partitions on wheels. There was a large inventory of objects that had accumulated over the years and one of the core exercises was to sort through them and create compositions of various scales. We took inspiration from the very industrial design language of the existing space as well as the products and added a pop of colour to break the monotony of greys. We also designed custom shelving systems that could be display products of varying sizes. Overall, the project was a fun exercise in interior design as well as product design.
